Green Teen Force is dedicated to promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices among youth. Our organization focuses on empowering young leaders to make a positive impact on the planet through education, community environmental initiatives, and advocacy.
This means bridging the gap between abstract environmental challenges and concrete, local solutions. Currently, vital youth environmental research projects sit on shelves simply because there aren't enough hands to carry them out. In fact, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a need for about 8,500 new environmental scientists each year, and we believe the next generation can start filling that gap today. By matching motivated students with sustainability programs for students, we not only accelerate critical research but also bring those findings directly to our neighborhoods, helping local small businesses adopt greener practices. This is how we make change possible. With the climate crisis at our doorstep, the collaboration of the next generation of thinkers, ideators, and innovators is essential to tackle this urgent problem, ensuring the fight for a sustainable future is not lost.
